We’ve had a very successful DJM weekend in Cologne.
Many Hamburg rowers very successfully represented our associations, clubs, and
the regional rowing association AAC/NRB. “A great result for our Hamburg athletes, who gave their all in glorious sunshine with temperatures around 35 degrees to stand on the winners’ podium or achieve good placings. Congratulations on these top sporting achievements!”, said Andreas Döpper.
Several Hamburg athletes managed to qualify for international competitions, including the U23 World Championships in Poznań and the U19 World Championships in Trakai.
Our Hamburg junior men and women in the B Project were also particularly successful. Here, we were once again able to win the Youth Cup of the German Rowing Association in the overall standings, ahead of Hannover and Halle RV Böllberg Nelson. “This is a result of the good cooperation between the Hamburg rowing clubs and associations in youth development.
A special thanks once again to the many coaches, instructors, and supporters from the Hamburg clubs and associations who made this successful result possible,” said Bernd Nennhaus.
We wish all nominated rowers and their coaches a successful preparation for the upcoming international challenges.
To all other participating athletes, coaches, and supporters, we wish a relaxing and pleasant holiday and a relaxed vacation period. The next international and national competitions are already waiting for us…
