Several Hamburg athletes managed to qualify for international competitions. The DRV’s nomination discussions are currently underway, so not all individual nominations have been finalized yet. “Our Hamburg Junior B project was particularly successful. Here, we were able to win the Youth Cup of the German Rowing Federation again after 2017; a result of the excellent cooperation between our Hamburg rowing clubs and associations in youth development,” said Andreas Döpper, Chairman of the AAC/NRB LRV Hamburg, who accepted the Youth Cup.

“Special thanks go to all coaches and support staff who, with their great personal commitment, made this successful outcome possible,” said Bernd Nennhaus, Deputy Chairman of the AAC / NRB LRV Hamburg.

We wish all nominated rowers and their coaches successful preparation for their upcoming international assignments.

The next sporting competitions in Hamburg await us with the North German Championships and the Baltic Cup / City Competition at the end of September. We are already looking forward to seeing you again for the start of the new season.
