The construction machinery is preparing the ground for the extension building of the Federal Rowing Training Center. “We are very much looking forward to this expansion for elite rowing. In the coming months, it will be a real challenge to reconcile daily sports operations and major regattas with the requirements of the construction site. To this end, everything has been well prepared by our AAC/NRB team and the operating company, together with the project team from the City of Hamburg,” says Andreas Döpper, Chairman of the AAC/NRB State Rowing Association Hamburg.

The official start of construction will be marked by a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the Dove Elbe Regatta Center.
