41st Alster Run for School Rowing
On Saturday, December 3rd, school rowers and club rowers ran together around the Outer Alster.
Despite numerous illness-related withdrawals, the Alster Run, organized by the School Authority’s Rowing Committee and RG Hansa, was once again a great event. The helpers from RG Hansa once again provided refreshments in the form of cakes, waffles, coffee, and children’s punch. To the sound of Christmas music, many athletes showed impressive final sprints in Alsterpark.
The fastest times of the day for the Alster circuit were run by Jan-Louis Poche from RG Hansa (Stadtteilschule Alter Teichweg) with 30:16 minutes and Kaya Wölk from Alster-Ruderverein Hanseat with 33:09 minutes.
