“The AAC/NRB LRV Hamburg rowing club called on the Bille rowing club to take part.
Ulrich Rothe had organized the Brandshofer lock, which is normally closed at weekends.
13 boats used this special lock, while others used the regular Tiefstack lock.
After we had fortified ourselves with a delicious soup, Andreas Döpper, the chairman of the AAC/NRB LRV Hamburg, welcomed us and the prizes were awarded.
First of all, the prize for the most participants in target trips, formerly known as the rowing to all clubs competition.
Winner: The Wanderrudergesellschaft die Wikinger followed by the Biller RC.
This was followed by the prize for the most rowing kilometers, graded according to club size.
Winners: Among the small clubs the Wanderrudergesellschaft die Wikinger, RC Dresdenia as a medium-sized club and among the large clubs the Hamburger Ruderinnen-Club.
The winners can look forward to receiving EUR 100.
A good start to the season after being kept off the ice for eight weeks!
