The early test is the last major regional assessment before the start of the nationwide regatta season.

This regional test is an association measure and is used for the squad review and squad nomination of the national squad of the national rowing association as well as for staffing the AAC/NRB project boats.

The 2026 regional test (early test) will take place from 03. – April 04, 2026 at the facilities of the AAC/NRB Landesruderverband Hamburg.
