Anti-Doping Program
The Hamburg State Rowing Association is consistently committed to doping- and manipulation-free sport. To this end, the Hamburg State Rowing Association works closely with its cooperation partners HSB/OSP and DRV. All cooperation partners support NADA’s prevention program “Gemeinsam gegen Doping”.
Anti-Doping
Officer
The Hamburg State Rowing Association has appointed an Anti-Doping Officer (currently Jan Suhrhoff – U23 State Coach), who monitors all measures within the State Rowing Association and provides clarification for questions and uncertainties. The Anti-Doping Officer regularly participates in current NADA training courses.
Participation
HSB Training Courses
The State Rowing Association has obliged its state squad athletes and performance sports staff to participate in the regularly held Anti-Doping Days, thereby ensuring early awareness within the association.
Certificate
E-Learning
Since 2019, every state squad athlete is obliged to complete NADA’s e-learning program and submit the final certificate to the Head State Coach. Otherwise, squad admission cannot take place.

Additional
Measures
During state squad training camps, the topic of anti-doping is regularly integrated, and awareness of the issue is raised. Additionally, NADA is invited with its information teams to regional and national competitions. Furthermore, all state squad athletes must sign an anti-doping declaration to enhance awareness of the issue.
