In the run-up to the referendum on Hamburg’s possible Olympic bid, NDR has compiled key questions and answers on the voting process. The focus is on the procedure, the question and the requirements for a valid decision.
The vote will decide whether Hamburg should bid to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games together with the German Olympic Sports Confederation. Hamburg’s eligible voters are entitled to participate. There are fixed quorums for the validity of the referendum.
