- September 2024 – a great day for German rowing!
After a 5-year planning and construction phase, including extensive modernization and expansion, the Rowing Academy, now meeting the standards of modern high-performance sports, was ceremonially opened yesterday by Schleswig-Holstein’s Minister President Daniel Günther, with the key handed over to DRV board member Moritz Petri.
Congratulations to Reinhart Grahn, head of the Rowing Academy, and everyone involved in the project, on this innovative and forward-looking expansion of the Ratzeburg Rowing Academy. Here, our rowers from the Olympic Training Centre Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein and the DRV National Training Centre Ratzeburg/Hamburg will find optimal training conditions.
