The Hamburg school rowers’ ergometer race is the oldest indoor rowing ergometer competition in Hamburg and the largest in northern Germany. There are sprint races, relays and races over distances from 100 m to 2000 m. It is organized jointly by the AAC/NRB, the rowing committee of the school authorities and the Hamburg School Rowing Association. This year, around 330 rowers will be competing. The race is part of Hamburg’s bid to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2036, 2040 or 2044. We will provide detailed information about this together with the sports authority.
